Kenduri Kawin

29th Dec 2007, ada kenduri kawin di Port Dickson. It was extremely hot that day. Kesian pada pengantin sure berpeluh ketiak ihihihi...anyway it was Juju and Sakinah's wedding. Finally they tied the knot ...congratulations to both of you.

Aidil Adha 2007

Altho Aidil Adha dah seminggu berlalu, tapi tak kisah la kan.

20-dec-2007 umat Islam di Malaysia menyambut Aidil Adha. Seronoknya bagi yang sedang mengerjakan haji di Baitullah, menjadi tetamu Allah. Semoga semua yang menunaikan haji tahun ini mendapat haji mabrur.


Ya Allah berilah kami rezeki dan kesihatan badan yang baik agar dapat pula kami menjadi tetamuMu Ya Rabbi. Amin.

Malam 9 Zulhijjah aku pandang ke langit, bulan sudah sempurna bulatnya cuma belum terang lagi. Ingatan aku terus pada tahun 2006, waktu bulan mengambang penuh tu la ayah meninggalkan kami. 10-01-2006 bersamaan 10 Zulhijjah adalah Raya kami yang terakhir bersama-sama ayah. 14 Zulhijjah (14-January-2006) ayah pergi untuk selamanya. Ya Allah, ampunilah dosa ayahku. Tempatlah dia bersama orang-orang yang kau kasihi. Amin.


Alhamdulillah tahun ni aku sempat membuat ibadah korban buat pertama kalinya, walau hanya sebagian lembu, tapi aku bersyukur kerana dapat juga aku menyempurnakan ibadah itu. Pahalanya aku sampaikan pada arwah ayah.

Weekend Aku Malang Lagi

I don't know but i always in for some trouble..hmm or rather misfortune ... last Sunday (23/12/07) ..aku accident..ye berlanggar...and it happen just in front of my house...aku terlanggar pagar...adussssssssss....

Pagi-pagi i woke up, eager to go to Pasar Tani Shah Alam, since aku dah lama tak ke sana. It was 6.40 am and i was rushing to go out before 7am...aku ni jenis suka keluar pagi-pagi...kalut tak tentu hala punya pasal, aku open the gate, in the car i went, put the gear into reverse mode, and without glancing into the rear window i pull back and i heard this big crash sound ...shit.....aku terlanggar pagar...bengkok, kemek..i was so horrified,..mampus la kena marah ngan laki aku.

Aku bravely told him that aku terlanggar pagar, and as aspected dia mengamuk....'I just dont understand...bla bla bla' he was on top of his voice...aku buat muka sedey kot dia nak kesian tapi dia buat dunno je, still mumbling... marah-marah, which aku tak dengar pun...
....huarghhhhhhhhhh..dah tu aku still ke pasar tani coz kalu tak lagi lama le aku kena dengar dia bebel hehehehehe, shopping pun dah tak syok lagi, after one hour aku balik. Dalam hati mesti laki aku still marah, but herannya dia gelak kuat kat aku, he said,' While you kat pasar tani tadi i look things at positive side, sib baik tu pagar biasa bukan pagar elektrik...so it's not that bad...and becoz it's u, things like this always happened...'

adusssssssssssssssss.......

Tengahari tu laki aku p cari welder, bangla tu mari, access the damage, and aku kena fork out RM70 untuk pateri balik besi yang dah bengok keledok tu...tak pasal je....

Wing Chair

I got the wing chair kat Fella Clearance Sale...ok la...tapi kat bawah tu dah semua brown color...pening gak kepala
need to get some colors la....hmm maybe a bit of purple flowers, and few colorful cushion, just to brigthen up ..

Party Pack

Last week before hari raya end, Iqah and Firah buat birthday celebration + hari raya open house.
Mak su being very generous sudah sponsor the party pack







Semua sibuk pack the party door give. Ada whistle, chocolate, jelly, wafer, party hat. Aku pun sibuk sama.

Roti John Tuna

I got the bread during my visit to Melaka, few weeks back, altho ada jual kat KL tapi saja la...

so one morning aku pun whip some tuna, spread it on the bread and dipped it in a bowl of eggs.
the taste is ok but i think sardine makes better Roti John.

Weekend Project

Last weekend (23rd Nov) is laundry day, aduh sampai 4 load aku cuci, but in between the washing, aku buat Karipap Daging, and Choc Chip Mint Ice Cream.

Since dah lama tak buat karipap, my husband asked for it. Ok lah, but before i get my hand buzy with the karipap, aku try this ice cream recipe i got from one web site http://www.ice-cream-recipes.com/ . The original recipe is vanilla, but since i need something refreshing hihihi, aku tukar jadi mint ice cream, ada plak balance choc chip aku tabur la skit...tak mo banyak sangat.

Recipe for Choc Chip Mint Ice Cream

4 cups heavy cream
8 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp of mint essense
Choc chip as many as you want it.

In a heavy base pan, scald the cream.
In another bowl, whisk the yolks and sugar until the color turns into very pale.
Remove the cream from the heat, add mint essence and a few drops of green color (optional). Remember not to boil the cream.
Add the yolk mixture and put it back on low heat, keep stirring until it's thick and easily coat the back of your metal spoon.

Refrigerate, and whisk every one hour to get a smooth ice cream texture. Put the choc chip on the second or third whisk, once the ice cream started to harden.

Lepas pekena karipap, pekena plak ice cream ni, sedap nya....

Berbudi pada tanah

Kat belakang rumah aku tanam beberapa pokok, antaranya serai, pokok kari, limau kasturi, limau nipis dan pandan... walau aku tak rajin mana, tapi bila tengok limau kasturi dah ada buah syok gak....nanti nak plan tanam cili and daun kunyit bagus gak tu...

Credit to my hubby sbb rajin tanam...aku rajin jirus ja..and rajin mengabiskan limau kasturi tu ihihihi

It's Been Awhile

Ayoo...lamanya tak update in this blog of mine. Well actually nothing really interesting happened to me this past few months...now I'm a bit bz with latest project, kena banyak turun Melaka...but somehow i enjoyed it.

Nowadays asik hujan je....n aku pun dah start semput balik..need to go to the clinic la ni macam, which i really hate ....tapi tak pe Insya Allah, i will be alrite....laki aku dok bising suruh p klinik...ayakkkkkkkkkk......making my semput worsen je kena leter ni ihihihih

Rendang Daging

Banyak daging kurban, why not rendangkannya...I made this simple rendang yesterday.

Ingredients

500 g beef - cut into medium size bit

Blend this stuff :-
3 serai
1' ginger
1' galangal
1' tumeric (or u can use the powder, i prefer fresh because it has better flavor and color)
4 onions
2 garlic
20 pcs chili kering
10-15 chili api


300 ml Santan (or RM 3 <> 21/2 coconut)
Daun kunyit - shred into small strips
2-3 tbsp Kerisik (toast coconut until dark, blend it to a fine paste)

Put everything in a heavy base pan, simmer until thick and rendang turns into black (dark brown).
